Located in Kent, the garden of England, Sissinghurst is a small, peaceful village east of Tunbridge Wells and is well-known for its history. Nearby Sissinghurst Castle can trace its record back to the Tudor period, being an integral site during the Seven Years War. The castle is surrounded by extensive walking trails perfect for enjoying the outdoors.

Kent is close to London, and it is possible to journey to the city centre in about an hour from most of Kent. This makes it a great base for those who love the hustle and bustle of London but also enjoy the peaceful countryside to retreat to.
