Fitted Wardrobes: The unassuming interior gem found in Brookworth Homes properties
At Brookworth Homes, we proudly consider every aspect of the design of each one of our new build properties, as well as the lifestyle of those who choose to live in one of our homes - we call this the ‘Brookworth Difference’.
In previous articles, we’ve covered the glamorous aspects of our superlative specification, such as Energy Efficiency features and Smart Storage, but in today’s article, we share our passion for the high-quality detail and benefits of the made-to-measure fitted wardrobes that feature in all our new build properties.
Quality craftsmanship is at the core of Brookworth Homes properties
We take great pride in selecting the best suppliers, tradespeople and contractors to partner with on every one of our new build developments. This ensures that every Brookworth Homes property, no matter the size, is both easy to move into and live comfortably from day one, and features the highest quality fixtures and fittings throughout.
It's for this reason we’ve chosen GAP Solutions, a family-owned, independent business based in Brighton & Hove, whose approach to quality and superior finish, matches our desire to exceed the expectations that our new buyers have of their new home.
What are the benefits of Brookworth Homes fitted wardrobes?
Fitted wardrobes allow you to unpack boxes straight away without and help you to make your house feel like a home from day one. This removes the added stress of purchasing wardrobes once you have moved in and helps you avoid potential delays caused by long lead times - in some cases up to 12 weeks.
It also means you don’t have to worry about measuring, re-assembling and moving your existing wardrobes into your new property.
Another benefit is that they can help create a minimal, stylish look to any bedroom. All of our fitted wardrobes are designed to perfectly coordinate with the wider interior design of your rooms, thus helping to ensure they flow seamlessly into the elegant decor.
What are the key features of Brookworth Homes fitted wardrobes?
Unlike standard wardrobes, which can take up a lot of floor space and leave gaps between the walls and the ceiling, fitted wardrobes are designed to fit into any corner or alcove, no matter the dimensions, thus making the most of the space available to maximum effect.
The wardrobes are meticulously designed to accommodate your storage needs. Each wardrobe is fully fitted, boasting a thoughtful arrangement of multiple levels of premium hard-wearing aluminium hanging rails that won’t bend or break over time, as well as intelligently integrated drawers and shelves. This ensures that your clothing, accessories, and personal items find their dedicated place, promoting both organisation and easy access. You can also adjust the height and position of the rails to suit the length of your clothes as required or as your needs change over time.
But that's not all – here's where the concept of 'fully carcassed' steps in. These wardrobes redefine excellence by ensuring every aspect is thoughtfully considered. Notably, the back, sides, and floor of the wardrobe are all flawlessly finished with the same premium material. No, it's not a mere carpeted base; it's a seamlessly integrated premium finish that elevates the aesthetic and functionality of the wardrobe. This attention to detail is what sets Brookworth Homes' fitted wardrobes apart.
More than functional, our fitted wardrobes are stylish and elegant and can even add an element of pizazz, with luxurious motion sensor lighting to illuminate your clothes as well as soft closing doors and drawers.
We’ve added the wow factor to fitted wardrobes
Alongside the practicalities of fitted wardrobes, there are a number of creative design elements that we have applied:
His and hers
We are delighted to offer ‘his and hers’ wardrobes, allowing those lucky enough to own a Brookworth Homes property the space to enjoy their own dedicated storage.
Motion Sensor Lighting
Motion sensor lighting is great for early alarms or late nights. Gone is the upset of disturbing your sleeping partner on those dark winter days when you have to turn on the bedroom light to find your work clothes. Instead the motion sensor lighting will automatically turn on when you open the wardrobe door with lighting that is bright and clear, but contained.
Double hinge doors
As convenient as it is space-saving, double hinge doors mean you can access your wardrobe from either side. Should you opt for a double opening hinge door wardrobe, the motion sensor lights will still come on even if only one door is open, so you don’t have to worry about struggling to find items.
Sliding doors
In select instances, we introduce sliding doors rather than double hinge doors. This strategic move is aimed at maximising space, especially when the room dimensions call for a more thoughtful approach. Our dedication to making every inch count extends to these ingenious sliding doors, creating an optimal blend of practicality and aesthetics.
